Exhibition: Vivian Riches' Florals

Update: This show has been extended until the end of January 2022, with a fresh hanging of new paintings by Vivian not seen locally before.

Vivian Riches is a professional artist living in Wingham, Kent. She is a painter of vibrant, contemporary landscapes and florals.  She works  in various mediums, including watercolour, acrylics and oils.

Vivian works spontaneously, allowing the painting to evolve as she goes along.  She is always experimenting with different tools and techniques to create exciting textural effects in her paintings.

We have a wonderful selection of Vivian's sumptuous, rich floral and landscape originals and framed prints on our Guest Exhibition Wall this month.  They are on show alongside a collection of her giclee prints. Additionally, we also have a small range of her greetings cards and coaster sets available. All works are available to buy.

Vivian's exhibition runs from 30th November to 24th December 2021. Entry is free. The opening hours are Mondays to Saturdays, 10am to 5pm.

Finally, there is an opportunity to meet with and talk to Vivian, on Thursday 9th December, between 12.30 and 3pm, when she will be joining us in the Galleria .

In Westgate Galleria we display a diverse selection of contemporary and traditional art and crafts alongside our guest exhibitions. This work is handmade by a large group of Kent-based independent artists, makers and creatives. Prints and greetings cards are stocked too.

Westgate Galleria is a large retail gallery and workshop space.  It is located in Westgate-on-Sea, in a beautiful part of Thanet. The area is a great destination for a weekend or day trip in all seasons. See here for more details, including travel directions.
