Wild: an exhibition by Susie Bear

Gentle as the breeze, fierce like the sea, burning bright like the sun, as grounded as the trees. Flowing, free, unapologetically me.

Susie Bear is a mixed media artist who is exhibiting her drawings, paintings, prints, ceramics and sculpture at Westgate Galleria in January 2023. Always an outdoorsy girl, Susie is now enjoying life as a full time mature student of art. Her work draws inspiration from nature. She hopes that visitors will sense her love of the natural world, and the emotion she invests in her work. Most pieces will be available for sale, including her full-sized sculpture of a woman made from beach stone and sand.

Susie's exhibition will take place alongside a diverse selection of contemporary and traditional art and crafts by Westgate Galleria's large group of resident artists, makers and creatives. Prints, greetings cards and postcards are also stocked.

Westgate Galleria is a large retail gallery and workshop space. Located in Westgate-on-Sea, in a beautiful part of Thanet. The area is a great destination for a weekend or day trip in all seasons. See here for more details, including travel directions.
