TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR OUR ONLINE CUSTOMERS

When you are purchasing online you will be required to indicate that you have read these Terms and Conditions and have agreed to these by using our online shop.

Please note that when you have decided to purchase an item from our online store this results in a legal contract between you and Shoreline Partners, this contract comprises of these Terms and Conditions, email confirmation of your order and the details on the item page. If there are inconsistencies between the confirmation of your order, the details on the item page and the Terms and Conditions; the latter prevails whilst we resolve any conflict.

Although we can confirm the quality of the goods purchased from our online store that are dispatched directly from one of our galleries, we are unable to make this undertaking if items are, very rarely, dispatched directly from an Artist, Maker or Creative. This disclaimer does not affect your statutory rights. We endeavour to represent the items for sale on our website as accurately as we can, however there may be some differences in colour due to the difference in lighting and the screen you view the site on.

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time and will notify our customers by uploading a revised version to the site.

By using our website you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to this then please do not use this website for purchasing items.

1. Accessing our online shop:

Access is permitted on a temporary basis and we reserve the right to withdraw or change items for sale without prior notice. We are not liable for any interruption in the service or if the website is unavailable for any period of time.

2. Intellectual property rights

We own the rights, title and interest in the website and online store. You are not allowed to modify, adapt, translate, reverse-engineer, disassemble or otherwise to derive source code from the website. You must not extract or otherwise use any of the content for commercial purposes without getting written permission from Shoreline Partners. We respect the intellectual property rights of others and if you are aware that your rights have been infringed then please contact us to report this.

3. Limitation of liability

Within the current legislation we disclaim any responsibility for any harm relating to your use of our website or online shop.

All items available for purchase on our online shop are provided “as is” and “as available”.

Nothing in these Terms and Condition shall limit or exclude our liability for fraudulent misrepresentation, for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

4. Our contract with you

Each order you place is deemed to be an offer by you to purchase the goods under these Terms and Conditions and the details on the product page. No order shall be deemed as accepted by us until we issue an email acknowledgment of order. The contract will then only relate to the goods listed in the email acknowledgment of order.

5. Payment

Purchases from our online shop can only be paid for using the payment methods we make available online. If you need to purchase an item using an alternative method or by redeeming a gift voucher please contact us. All purchases are shown in an applicable currency and payable in that currency. You accept that some banks may charge you additional fees for certain transactions (for example international transactions). You are accepting that the item price displayed does not vary according to your location and delivery charges will vary dependent upon location and size.

We use industry standard SSL certificates to secure your connection whilst using the online website. All payments from the online shop. are processed via a third-party payment provider. Payments are handled off site and are protected as they are PCIDSS compliant. Shoreline Partners do not hold any details of payment methods, cards, bank details on the website or in hard copy from online purchases.

6. Refusal to process a transaction

We may refuse to process any transaction for any reason at our sole discretion. We do not have to give you or any third party a reason for refusing. If we refuse a transaction after payment is made a refund will be made to you during the next working day.

7. Delivery

Your shopping bag shows the items you have chosen. We will then decide the most appropriate way of packaging to allow safe delivery of the chosen item(s). The delivery costs will vary based on size, weight and destination. There may be a choice of delivery methods and these will be identified on the individual items.

If the delivery destination is outside of the UK they may attract import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches your destination. You will be responsible for payment of all import duties and taxes. We do not have any control of these taxes and duties and you should check with your local customs office if you have any queries.

9. Link to and from our Website

You may link to our home page on our Website provided you do so in a way that is legal and does not damage our reputation or suggest in any way that we have an association, approval or endorsement where none exists.

Our website must not be framed by any other website nor may you create a link to any part of our site other than the home page. We reserve the right to withdraw linking permissions at any time.

We may link to other websites from time to time for information. If you use these links and leave our website you should be aware that we have not reviewed nor to we have control over third party websites. We therefore do not endorse or represent them, any material on them, or any outcome of you using them. Any third-party website that you access, even from a link on our website, is entirely at your own risk.

10. Viruses, hacking or other offences

You should not misuse our website and introduce viruses, Trojans, worms, logic bombs or any other material which is malicious or technologically harmful. You should not try to obtain illegal and unauthorised access to our website, or the server it is stored on. By breaching this you would be committing a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We will report any breach and disclose your identity to the relevant legal body.

11. Force majeure

Where we are prevented from or are subject to delay in carrying out any obligations under these Terms and Conditions due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, governmental actions and restrictions, war and/or national emergency, fire, explosion, flood, difficult weather conditions, strikes, delays in carriers ability to carry out their work, our obligations will be postponed for a period of time until we can resume our work.

12. Law

Contracts for the purchase of goods from our online shop are governed by English Law. Any dispute arising from or relating to these contracts shall be subject to jurisdiction of the course in England.
