About Westgate Galleria

Westgate Galleria is in picturesque Westgate-on-Sea, a thriving high street and holiday resort. With no precedent for this type of venture in this part of Thanet, and with bustling local and tourist populations, we opened in November 2019 to showcase the talents of creative people in the area and across Kent, and to provide a unique shopping experience for discerning customers who appreciate beautiful, artisanal products.

Westgate Galleria has two large, airy, well-lit and inviting spaces for exhibiting and selling original art, crafts, homeware, accessories and gifts. Well-equipped hire space for group workshops, one-to-one teaching and meetings is also available.

We offer artisans exhibition and retail space both on a permanent basis and short term on our Guest Wall, alongside dedicated business support and guidance for those who choose to work with us, catered to their specific needs.

We are now successfully exhibiting and selling for over sixty resident and guest artists, makers and creatives at Westgate Galleria, and have availability to work with more. We focus on supporting those who produce very high quality, handmade, goods and we welcome those who have experience in exhibiting and selling their work alongside those who are new to it. Westgate Galleria sits on Station Road (CT8 8RB), alongside other independent retailers, restaurants, bars and cafés, a beautiful Edwardian cinema, the Carlton, which has daily screenings, and it is on regular train and bus routes. The seafront and its pretty bays are a short stroll away, through attractive residential squares with interesting architecture and gardens.
