Silk & Sublime: Jo Weeks' Summer 2024 Hat Collection

Handmade and bespoke headwear by Jo Weeks is the focus for this showcase. Her Silk & Sublime collection revolves around the opulence of silk in all its forms. These include millinery silk, vintage silks, raw silks, silk slubs and fine silks. Paired with other luxurious textiles and adornments to create beautiful headwear.

Local milliner Jo specialises in designs for weddings, racing events, special occasions and for stand-out daytime wear. She is also the designer and maker behind the Galleria's popular Alucci Fred range of headbands.

Jo will be regularly available during this showcase, for drop-in personal consultations on her ready-to-wear designs and to discuss bespoke adaptations. Westgate Galleria is a large retail art gallery and workshop space, located in charming Westgate-on-Sea, on Thanet's coastline. Alongside Jo's showcase, visitors will also enjoy displays of a wide range of handmade art and crafts. These have all been made by local independent artisans and are available for sale too.
