Summer Holidays: en plein air paintings by Julian Lovegrove

Julian Lovegrove is an artist from Broadstairs with a passion for painting 'en plain air' outside, directly from nature. He paints everyday. You may find him in the corner of a muddy farmyard or boatyard, sketching or painting until rain or darkness takes over. This is how his paintings are created,  with honesty and integrity. This selection of his seaside scenes and memorable moments from Summer holidays will feature local bays, beaches and family activities. All painted in an impressionist manner. Julian will be present in the Galleria during his exhibition to meet and chat with visitors, and to paint too of course! Dates will be published nearer the time.

Westgate Galleria is a large retail art gallery and workshop space, located in charming Westgate-on-Sea, on Thanet's coastline. Alongside Jo's showcase, visitors will also enjoy displays of a wide range of handmade art and crafts. These have all been made by local independent artisans and are available for sale too.
